Bayberry candles have been burned at Christmas and New Years Eve for good luck in America since the colonial times. These candles are handmade in Wisconsin, in small batches at our studio. Note the 12" design of our tapers vs most Bayberry candles on the market at 8" to 10". Bayberry wax is made through a process of boiling down Bayberrys and then separating the wax from other impurities. Bayberry wax is very brittle and for a strong, wonderful burning, and aromatic candle, our Bayberry candles are crafted with half American Bayberry wax and half Pure American Beeswax.
